The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has also been spied again, confirming most of the details we already know so far

We have recently received an invitation for a first ride from Royal Enfield, to be held between July 14 - July 17, 2024. And since Royal Enfield has just trademarked the name “Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450”, we think it could be that bike. The bike could also be launched before the first ride in that timeframe as it makes sense to know the price before forming an opinion of the bike during the first ride experience.

Also, the bike has been spotted again and the spy shot is the clearest image of the bike we have seen yet. From this image, we can see that it gets a regular triple clamp mounted round headlight instead of the frame-mounted unit seen on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. It will likely get 17-inch wheels at both ends with block-pattern tyres and the rake angle could be a little bit sharper than the Himalayan 450. The fuel tank looks much sleeker as well and could be smaller in size. The seat is a single-piece unit instead of the split-seat setup of the ADV. The suspension travel will be lesser than that of the Himalayan 450 and the bike will be a middle ground between the 450cc and the 650cc bikes in Royal Enfield's lineup for new buyers.

We previously predicted that the bike could be called the Royal Enfield Hunter 450 but after the filing of the recent trademark and the logo of the bike being also revealed, we think it’ll be called the Guerrilla 450. The overall design of the bike looks very similar to that of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 but the rear section with the integrated taillight and the turn indicators shares a lot of resemblance with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The bike gets a telescopic fork and monoshock suspension along with raised handlebar and mid-set footpegs, which should translate to an upright riding position. These details were spotted when the bike was spied nearly four months ago.

The upcoming bike will most likely be powered by the same 450cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, ‘Sherpa’ engine found in the Himalayan 450 but with a different set of tuning, in terms of ignition mapping and/ sprocket change, in order to suit the roadster’s character better. It is expected to get a price tag of about Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom) and will rival the likes of the Triumph Speed 400, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Hero Mavrick 440, Harley-Davidson X440 and QJ Motor SRC 500.
