Riding the Wind with the KTM RC 200

The KTM RC 200 has been my faithful companion on many road adventures offering the perfect balance between power and agility. With its 200 cc engine producing 25 hp and 20 Nm of torque it is a step up from beginner bikes and introduces riders to a more thrilling level of performance.Its aerodynamic design is not just for show,it truly enhances the riding experience, slicing through the air really easy.However it is worth mentioning that the seating position can be taxing on your back and wrists on longer rides. Plus the high revving engine noise can be a bit exhausting over long distances.

A Year of Racing with the KTM RC 200

Having spent over a year with my KTM RC 200, racing through both city streets and open highways I have grown quite fond of this machine. The RC 200 has a heart of 199.5cc engine producing 25hp and 19.2Nm of torque, coupled with its race derived chassis and aerodynamic design which delivers an exhilarating performance that is hard to match. Its lightweight nature and precise handling elevate the riding experience whether you are on a track or navigating through city traffic.The bike's fuel efficiency is another aspect where it could improve specially considering the frequent trips to the fuel station.

RC 200 Positives Points: Sharp but forgiving handling; Meatier torque band aids overall driveability; More accessible ergonomics makes for a better all-rounder

RC 200 Negatives Points: Tyres lack edge grip, letting down the otherwise great handling package; It is a bit pricey; The edgy design is quite polarising

Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : KTM has ushered in a new era of sport machines, and so, it was only fitting for the company to whet our appetite with the RC 200. The new-gen bike is not only fast and sharp as always but is a lot more versatile than the outgoing model. While its design has not been as welcomed as the previous iteration, it does tend to grow on you. It could do with better tyres, though, as that remains one of the chinks in its armour.
