The KTM 390 Duke has been a part of my daily commuting and weekend fun for six months now. With its powerful 373 cc engine producing 43 HP, this bike is a rocket ready to launch at every green light. Its razor sharp handling and lightweight design make it a joy to move through city traffic. The bike offers a host of modern features like the TFT display that connects seamlessly with my smartphone, enhancing the riding experience. Fuel efficiency is decent too coming around 25 km/l, which is respectable for such a powerful engine.

390 Adventure exploration
My buddy bought a KTM 390 Adventure bike. I got to ride it. It's really fun! The bike is light and easy to move. It does well on rough trails. But it's also comfy on highways. It's not the strongest bike. But it's a good deal for people who like adventure. They can use it for many things. The only bad part is the seat. It's a bit too hard, especially for long rides. Still, the 390 Adventure is great for exploring and having a good time.

My Journey with the KTM 390 Adventure
After clocking over 5,000 kilometers on my KTM 390 Adventure, I feel enough I have enough story to share my experiences. Dubbed as a versatile machine the 390 Adventure with its 373cc engine producing 43bhp and 37Nm of torque, promised thrilling rides and it delivered for the most part. while the advanced traction control and ABS give you the confidence to tackle challenging terrains. The 14.5 liter fuel tank is quite enough for long rides. However, it is not all sunshine. The seat height at 855mm can be enough for shorter riders but not for long rides and the 390 Adventure's weight can make it difficult.

Hard suspension
The 390 adv while having a hard suspension still has decent dampening. It is a tall but light bike but may not suit short riders. While the dukes and rc may not be comfortable for larger riders with a tummy or who are taller this bike will keep such riders comfortable.Pros - good power & features (mtc, Slipper clutch, Cornering abs, Led lights and display)- less weight- strong and can take a bashing- decent service cost- ktm experiences and app- head turner in traffic- good breaking power compared to other adv's (but may be squeaky)cons - - more fuel hungry than dominar or himalyan in similar segment.-turn by turn navigation needs 3rd party app (not official ktm app)-low end torque is not great although improved on 2022 model-long waiting time for delivery (parts availability of fiber parts)-heating and perpetual feeling of the fan being on for cooling.- not available with spokes for serious offroaders(not really a con as those owning a single bike will likely be on road for most of their life.Alloys are good for mild off-roading and provides tubeless tires.)- wind buffeting due to short windscreen(aftermarket long ones available)- no ktm power parts available in indiaall in all still worth it as it is the best bike in less than 5l category.Above this you only have 2nd hand super bikes/or pay a lot more for a new superbike.

KTM 390 Adventure Pros and Cons
390 Adventure Positives Points: Excellent ergos for touring, Retains on-road performance of 390 Duke, Packed with electronic goodies
390 Adventure Negatives Points: Lacks low down torque for off-road riding, 855mm seat height is too tall for average Indian riders, Traction control feels a little glitchy
