The Renault Kwid is a popular hatchback car in the Indian market known for its budget-friendly price tag, mileage, and decent features. Front seat space might be slightly uncomfortable for taller passengers. The safety rating of the Kwid might be a concern for some buyers as it is not rated that much . Limited cabin space, especially in the rear, might be a drawback for families with growing children. But the limted cabin space will definately feels uncomfortable .

Renault KWID Pros and Cons
KWID Positives Points: Funky and muscular styling is attractive. Long features list makes it a great VFM proposition. Compact dimensions and light controls make it easy to drive in the city. New safety features. Single 1.0-litre engine option is BSVI Phase-2 compliant.
KWID Negatives Points: Engines lack punch especially out on the highway. AMT is sluggish
Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The Kwid is a great first car, looks great and sports some nice features but the driving experience isn't the best.

I own a Kwid Automatic variant
3.7
I own a kwid automatic variant for over 2 yrs now.The car Service me well in the city as well as on the highway.Drove from mumbai to shirdi soon after getting the new vehicle and did another from mumbai to kevadia (statue of unity).Got great mileage and trouble free journeys.Experienced few issues in the city with vehicle going dead on 3 occasions. However got excellent response from tvs road side assistance as well as benchmark motors workshop. On the whole a great small family and retired couple car (automatic variant).Lots of bag space can be had with the removable rear seat back.Rating 4/5.

Renault kwid facelift exterior has been updated with a new grille which is flanked by a new set of led daytime-running-lamps which also houses the turn indicators. The revised bumper places the suv inspired headlamps and skid plate. The headlamps are surrounded by orange accents which really increase the sporty appeal of the hatchback.Body cladding and side decals have been running throughout the side profile.

Renault kwid features quite ample specifications for the city drive and will not let you down. The mcpherson strut and twist beam suspension on the front and rear wheels respectively form a greatly configured setting for bumpy cities and high roads. However, The car lacks grunt when you get on the highway or expressway. Also, The engine starts making noise and you will feel the annoying vibration if you force the car beyond a certain speed.
