Smooth and responsive engine

With the good amount of power and torque this bike gives a very strong performance and for the city this bike is brillant. The seat is large and very decent with the comfortable riding position and the pickup is also good but the build quality could be better. It is a very good fuel efficient bike and the refinement level of engine is outstanding but the features are very less in Yamaha FZS-FI V3 bike. It gives responsive and smooth performance and the brakes of this bike is also very good.

Well liked bike

The bike is responsive and has good pickup but it lacks a few essential features. Although it has good handling and visibility, the build quality is poor. With Bluetooth connectivity and decent comfort, it is a good commuter bike. It is a large bike with a smooth engine and good fuel efficiency. Although it has a smooth engine and a pleasant ride, the performance is lacking. It has great acceleration and a comfortable and get comfortable seating position. The driving is also very smooth with great ride quality and performance.

Yamaha FZS-FI V3 Pros and Cons

FZS-FI V3 Positives Points: Big bike styling, features, smooth engine.

FZS-FI V3 Negatives Points: Performance isn’t up to the mark, the quality of plastics feels sub-par.

Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : In nearly every aspect, except maybe ergonomics and braking, the Yamaha FZS-FI v3.0 fails to impress. While its motor offers better fuel efficiency compared to the previous-gen model, it lacks grunt. If you have around Rs 1 lakh to invest, you're better off with say a TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 or the Suzuki Gixxer.

So its been more than 6 months and 1200+ kms i been riding this bike and i feel i can give my honest opinion now.1.Starting with the most important thing when you are looking for any vehicle is comfort, And trust me this1bike is so comfortable. The seats are so amazing for both the pillion and rider. And the riding positSo it's been more than 6 months and 1200+ km I've been riding this bike and I feel I can give my honest opinion now. 1. Starting with the most important thing when you are looking for any vehicle is comfort, And trust me this bike is so comfortable. The seats are so amazing for both the pillion and the rider. And the riding position is also so comfortable, It feels relaxed while riding this bike. So in comfort, it's 10/10. 2. Coming to the pros and cons, I will keep it very short. Pros are good looks, Brand trust, Comfort, and mileage(will tell the number in further points). Cons: I haven't observed it yet but many of them are facing issues with the tank panel, The quality could have been more good but yeah that's what we get. Other than that some people feel the power is a little less considering the other bikes in the budget(it's a personal opinion, For me as a commuting rider I don't really need more power so I am fine with it but for some this can be a con). Coming to the overall performance I would say it's the best. Like 9/10. One mark for that tank quality but otherwise it's amazing. The pickup of the bike, The mids, The exhaust note, Everything feels up to the mark. As of now, I am getting mileage of 40-45 in city traffic. I have seen people getting 50-55+ too. Again it depends on your riding style and roads too. But I am satisfied with it. So no regrets regarding the mileage.4.Talking about some things I liked the most, For the deluxe variant which I own I am in love with the color. The blue alloy wheels are amazing. Also, we get Bluetooth connectivity feature which is 90% times more useful since it gives extra security and also you get to see some of your ride stats. For 10% I was facing connection issues, But that's fine. We get enough for what we paying for.5.Lastly about the after-sales service, It's good. Again depends from showroom to showroom to be very honest. But for me, it was pretty fine. For 1st and 2nd free service, I was charged approx.800-900, Which is ok in my opinion. To summarize, This is one of the best options in the budget segment. Of course, there are other options with more power Or some other features. But again as I said its a personal opinion. For me, it was the brand trust, The looks(10/10 for looks), Mileage, Comfort, and long last. So I went for this amazing bike. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any questions. Happy and safe riding :).

It's a best daily use bike.

It's a best daily use bike.I've driven it non stop 400 kms and the ride was so comfortable. The position of rider and set comfort is just excellent. The best part of bike is the look and it's engine and on another side the worst part is it's body panel those are made from fibers.Overall it's a best performance bike, Pickup is great on highway as well as in city traffic the build quality of the bike is exceptional when it comes to yamaha.Talking about it's mileage in city i got around 47kmpl and on highway it was 53kmpl at 90kmph speed as you reach 100 you will start feeling vibration on foot pedals and on handle bars and the smart connect feature is great as it locks and unlock the bike electronically. After sale service is great as i prefer to get it serviced from the yamaha showroom and it's pretty convenient for me.

Problems in FZS-FI V3 Pickup

Daily comm

4.6

Overall experience is really amazing for daily commuter as it has all the specs which meets the requirements like mileage, Looks handling braking and all so can say it is all in one package if you exclude pickup and speed which is not even that bad but if we compare it with other in same segment then sure that does make a difference as it's a bit slow.Otherwise getting mileage of 50-55 in city in 150 cc segment is unimaginable.Service cost is not that high it has everything in my opinion.
