My pal has a Bajaj Pulsar 220 F bike. It's exciting! It's one of the least costly motorcycles in its group. It gives good power and performance. The style looks fast and sporty. It's great for riding around town or on highways. But we saw the fuel usage could be better, mostly in city rides. The build quality could also improve as some parts don't feel very strong. All in all, it's a decent motorcycle for those wanting affordability and style.

Pulsar 220f is one of the very few bikes i would recommend anyone to buy without even a second thought because it has amazing pickup which feels like lighting fast and that also with a very good mileage of 35-40 kmpl in city i have been using my bike for past 4 years and i can't describe it in my words how good the bike feels when driven the only downside i feel about the bike is of its quite expensive maintenance like if you break something or you have to change any part of the bike because of the wear and tear then it costs slightly more but once changed then you are free from the tension of any underperformance and due to not having the chain cover the chain gets dirty very easily and then we have to change the chain sprocket which is costly so i would recommend to clean and spray your chain atleast once every month.Overall the bike is 8/10 i would recommend to buy.

Engine capacity

According to its engine capacity it offers a great power an pickup but if any parts gets damaged or complaint it will cost a littl high for a average worker it offers great acceleration my bs3 220 gets 0 to100 in 7 seconds

Bajaj Pulsar 220 F Pros and Cons
Pulsar 220 F Positives Points: Touring-friendly dynamics
Pulsar 220 F Negatives Points: Still looks the same, has lost the value proposition
Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The Bajaj Pulsar 220F, despite its age, still remains an aspirational motorcycle for Indian buyers given its performance and features. The BS4 motor isn’t the most refined one out there, so we expect Bajaj might have ironed out that issue in the BS6 version. However, it’s high time that Bajaj rolled out its successor.

I owned Pulsar 220f on
4.2
I owned Pulsar 220f on 2012 Jan, starting when I bought it gives me 37 kmpl after 1st service mileage increased to 44kmpl, and after 4th Service it gives me 48kmpl in city and 56kmpl in the highway which was calculated mark. There is very minimum maintenance cost as you don"t need coolant, very reasonable parts (brake pads, brake fluid oil, etc).Braking of this bike is not good I can say as compared to R15V2 R15V3, I feel the initial loss of braking bite especially on rear brakes, I"m very disappointed with my rear brake even I tried to fix by Bajaj Service dealer and also Outside local garage but no improvements as I"m expecting.Performance of the bike is best in its class, but after 9000RPM line engine get strains to get higher speed once I clocked 132kmph and still RPM meter left for top speed.I am seeing that Pulsar 220F is holding still in 2019 market with the same craziness among the youngster As I was during 2012.I want to advise To Mr. Rajiv Bajaj (CEO) and their R&D team to improve engine refinement, more bites on braking (focus more on Rear disc brake)should get Lead on Front lights .

Rear light
3.8
One who is stepping his boots for a sports bike...I must say...Pulsar 220F is a great package for Beginners...excellent handling, good brakes (I will not say very good because once you are shooting up at 80+/90+ then you must be aware about the front and rear disc combination braking else you are going to BANG!!!!), fuel efficiency good as you are riding a 220cc bike with whooping close 20bHP power. Be aware of dragging your bike in off road conditions or road having potholes as Parts mating quality like visor or rear light is not good...I will say POOR...rest is perfect.
