A car that tries to tick
4.7
A car that tries to tick all the boxes - that’s how i would like to describe the new kia seltos facelift. With looks to die for on the exterior and a stylish interior, My model of choice htx + has some of the most advanced features that the discerning owner would like to have in his car.Let me go through some of the features that pushed me into buying this suv.-panoramic sunroof that is expansive and smooth - gorgeous twin panels for infotainment and driver information - ventilated front seats - wireless charging - powered 8 way adjustment driver seat - uv cut glasses - automatic dimming rear view mirror - front and rear park assist - microbes free pure air filter - dual zone climate control ac- bose speakers with woofer - ambient lights - cruise control - kia connect features the list goes on and on ….In fact i am yet to test out all the features even after 20 days of ownership. That shows how many features the car has ! the only thing that i regret is my decision to go for an imt gear shift without doing proper research. The biggest problem is that the car often forces me to downshift to a lower gear even though i believe that it should be able to move in current gear.It also results in losing momentum while i shift to a lower gear after car refuses to engage the current gear.Yet to come to terms with the driving system of imt.Maybe i should have opted for an automatic, Especially since there is hardly much of a difference in mileage. The car has been returning a decent average of around 11kmpl in city driving full of traffic.Look forward to take it out for a highway spin and find out the real world mileage on a highway. All in all, If you like your car to be high tech and a looker, Then look no further and go for it !.

Kia Seltos Pros and Cons
Seltos Positives Points: Still a very good looking Crossover, new DRLs and connected taillamps look fab. 18-inch alloys now in both X-line and GTX+ variants, ADAS 2.0, panoramic sunroof and dual zone climate control. New more powerful turbo petrol. Plenty of drivetrain options including a diesel engine.
Seltos Negatives Points: Prices will go up. Some could feel that the visual changes are not enough.
Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : Remains a solid well rounded option in a very competitive segment. The added tech package, visual and feature updates only improve its appeal. If Kia price it right it could continue to be a hit for the Korean brand.
