TVS Apache RTR 180 gives great pickup and is known for the high responsive but gives vibration. It is a really awosme bike and the ride quality is very good and comes with the modern features and the mileage is around 35 to 40 kmpl. Those buyers who want more power and pickup with high performance this bike is perfect for that and for city rides it is a great bike but the brakes need more improvment. The riding positon of this bike is very comfortable and the engine is a great performer with well made suspension setup.

I am lucky to got the opportunity to drive this bike, It's stylish and sporty, with sharp lines and various color options . The riding position can be a bit aggressive for long rides. The 180cc engine giving you enough power for city rides and highway cruising. You should Expect a decent mileage of about 40-45 kmpl depending on riding style. It's performance is good with peppy acceleration and good handling make it a fun ride, especially in traffic. The suspension might feel stiff on bumpy roads. A very budget-friendly option in the 180cc segment, it's a thrill ride without breaking the bank.

TVS Apache RTR 180 Pros and Cons
Apache RTR 180 Positives Points: It packs a peppy motor, braking performance is solid, good handler.
Apache RTR 180 Negatives Points: Looks dated, comes with single-channel ABS instead of the previous dual-channel setup, bit expensive for a 180cc bike.
Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The TVS Apache RTR 180 BS6 gets a few but crucial updates to make it future-proof at least for the time being. With these, it has the potential to remain a fan favourite for a little longer, at least as long as the 180cc segment remains sparsely populated.

Honest review
3.0
I bought apache rtr 180 with dual disk brakes in january 2016.Yesterday i sold the bike.I will write my honest review about the bike.First good things, Its speed and power. Before apache i had pulsar 180 but i must say apache is far better than pulsar in terms of speed & power.I also like the sound a lot.Ride quality is good. Now bad things.First of all is mileage. Its really depressing to get 30-35 kmpl when petrol is 90rs per litter. No matter how much servicing maintenance i did, It gave me 35kmpl only and for last one year i am getting 30kmpl.Be it in city or highway.Secondly rusting.Tvs should really look into this matter. There are rusts in so many under areas. No other bike gets rusty within 3 years.Thirdly the brakes & grip isn't something which gives you confidence at high speed.Once it skided on a completely dry road and i fell down.Luckily i was only at 50kmph so nothing serious happened. Thanks to helmet.Fourth : vibration. It really gets into your nerves after a year. You loose all confidence to go faster.Thats all guys.

City riding
4.2
Apache Rtr 180 is definitely a good commuter bike. It is basicaly designed for city riding. Its engine is torqy and power starts to build up right from 3000 rpm and goes upto 7000. Its top end has very poor pull as engine only generates noise. Vibrations are very much felt at every point on bike such as footpegs , side view mirrors and visor . Nothing can be done to avoid it.Seats are comfortable but start feeling itchy after 40 - 50 kms of ride.Mileage in cities is around 40 - 42 KMPl and on highways increases upto 45-48 KMPl.stock tyres are not that good , provide less grip on wet road. Its maintenance is cheap untill you have to replace any of mechanical parts. Normal service will cost around 575₹ under free service .1025 ₹ paid service.for 2018 model.

A year into owning a TVS Apache RTR 180 has been a thrilling ride to say the least. The ABS feature is a lifesaver, providing that extra confidence during sudden stops a must in unpredictable Indian traffic. However, every rose has its thorns. The vibration levels post 7000 rpm can get uncomfortable which is noticeable on longer rides. Additionally the bike's mileage is around the 40 kmpl mark, can be a disappointing for the mileage conscious. But the Apache RTR 180 more than makes up for it with its sheer performance and the adrenaline rush it offers.
