The sixth generation Hyundai Elantra has been launched in India carrying a Sticker price of Rs 12.99 lakh for the base petrol variant and Rs 19.99 lakh for the top-spec diesel variant (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Available in nine variants, the all-new Elantra has been built on a new platform making the sedan longer and wider in dimensions. The car is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. While the petrol is an all-new 2.0-litre mill, the diesel motor is been carry forwarded from its predecessor. Belonging to the D-segment, the Elantra competes against the likes of the Chevrolet Cruze, the Toyota Corolla Altis, the Volkswagen Jetta and the Skoda Octavia.
