2015 Hyundai Verna Facelift Bookings Commenced; Expected Launch On February 18

The new 2015 Hyundai Verna facelift will launch this month in the Indian market and bookings for the same have already commenced. The booking amount ranges from Rs 20,000-50,000 with deliveries expected to commence within 30-60 days from the launch.

The refreshed 2015 Verna is expected to get bold and mature styling just like the Solaris which was launched in Russia last year. The 2015 Hyundai Verna gets a twin-slat grille, sleek headlamps with projector lights and a redesigned front bumper. The facelifted Verna will also get a redesigned bumper with new fog lamps sporting Daytime Running Lamps. The rear end will receive LED inserts to the tail-lamp cluster, redesigned reflectors and a black plastic lip.

Under the hood, the facelifted Verna will continue to come equipped with the same 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol and diesel units in India. The 1.6-litre petrol unit gets the four-speed automatic, while the updated Verna in Russia gets a six-speed automatic gearbox. It remains unclear as of now whether Hyundai will bring the six-speed automatic gearbox to India.

As mentioned above, the 2015 Hyundai Verna facelift will launch in India on February 16, 2015.
