Bajaj Pulsar RS200 now in Demon Black colour

To silent some critics who felt that the multilayered styling and generous use of body graphics gave the new Bajaj Pulsar RS200 a busy design, Bajaj Auto has introduced new all-back edition of the 200cc Pulsar.

The new Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is now also offered in a new shade of Demon Black with red body decals. The official website commenced teasing the new body colour with a “Fear the Black” tagline last week. The Demon Black Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will be sold along with the existing red and yellow body colours options.

Powering the Pulsar RS200 is a 199.5cc triple spark, single cylinder, 4-valve, liquid cooled fuel injected, which can produces 24.5PS of power and 18.6Nm torque. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the bike comes with a claimed top speed of over 140kmph.

Other features of the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 include 13 litre fuel tank, perimeter frame, twin projector headlamps, and LED taillight. The bike also sports 17-inch tubeless tyres and disc brakes in fronty and rear, with the option of ABS.

Currently, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is price at Rs 1.18 lakh for the non-ABS version, while the ABS equipped model costs Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). This colour option demands a marginal premium over the previously launched colours and has been priced at Rs 1.20 lakh (non-ABS) and Rs 1.32 lakh (ABS version) (ex-showroom Delhi). We can expect Bajaj to also introduce black colour options in the new Pulsar AS150 and AS200 range, which till now do not have the popular colour option on offer.
