In a move to the lines of which hasn't ever been seen before, our very own local Formula 1 team, Force India, has tied up with a major Hollywood movie Fast & Furious 4. And to entice car lovers and Formula 1 fanatics, Force India's 2008 racing car will be on public display at the Fame Big Cinemas in Andheri, Mumbai during the movie's opening weekend, which will start from today, 3rd April '09.
Fast and Furious 4, the fourth film in the popular action-packed franchise, sees the original cast reprise their roles from the first movie, namely Vin Diesel as the charismatic street-racer and highjacker, Dominic Toretto and Paul Walker as the cop turned street-racer, Brian O'Conner. Joining them on the streets of Los Angeles once again are Michelle Rodriguez, who plays Toretto's girlfriend, and Jordana Brewster, Toretto's sister and O'Conner's love interest. Directing the movie is Justin Lin, who also directed the previous Fast and Furious movie, Tokyo Drift.
Mr. Jacinto Fernandes, Marketing Head of Paramount Films, India, expressed his excitement about the association of Force India with Fast & Furious 4 and commented "Fast & Furious 4 is all about racing, speed and fast cars. One will get to see the best cars in the movie. And Force India and F1 racing is too all about racing and fast cars. The similarities and passion shared by both made us come together to promote the film."
'Fast & Furious 4' has been released today in all major metros around the country and will keep auto enthusiasts entertained in a variety of languages such as English, Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.
