Bajaj Auto has teamed up with one of India's biggest entertainment channel, MTV India, for a reality show named MTV Pulsar Stunt Mania, which will focus on motorcycle stunts and passion amongst the youth for biking. The show will present a platform for budding stunt-riders to showcase as well as learn tricks from India's leading stunt co-coordinator Alan Amin. It is a smart collaboration as both these brands are well-connected with the Indian youth and have significant influence on these young minds.

Auditions for the show have been conducted across six cities in India and more than 1800 registrations have been received so far. There will be a total of ten finalists who will feature on the show out of which five will be women riders. The male riders will have to complete at least three stunts out of the multiple tricks listed to qualify for the personal interview. For women riders, they only need to have a license for riding a geared motorcycle and they must be able to ride a motorcycle with confidence and control.

Bajaj Auto is providing the new Pulsar 180 DTSi motorcycles for the auditions as well as for the show. The winner of this reality show will get to go abroad to get trained under world-class professional stunt riders and he/she will also get a chance to feature in the next big Bajaj Pulsar TV commercial. Apart from that, the winner will be awarded with an exclusive all-chrome special edition Pulsar 220. Unlike most reality shows known for politics and back bitching, the focus of MTV Pulsar Stunt Mania will remain on stunts and motorcycling. In every episode there will be new tricks which the participants will have to master during the show.

Last month Bajaj Auto launched an upgraded Pulsar 180 DTSi model with revised cycle parts borrowed from the larger capacity Pulsar models like the Pulsar 200 DTSi and the Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi. The new bike is priced extremely competitively and it currently is placed lower than the premium 150cc price bracket. The reality show will not only give a good boost to the biking culture in India, but it will also help Bajaj Auto pass its message loud and clear to biking enthusiasts across the country about its new updated range of premium motorcycles to be launched soon. Bajaj Auto is currently leading the premium motorcycle segment in terms of sales numbers and this tie-up with MTV will help the Pulsar brand garner more fans and followers.
