At the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, Honda has unveiled to the press and public the fully faired CBR400R. The Japanese motorcycle maker claims it to be an extremely versatile product that offers supreme riding pleasure in the city as well as on the highway. Going by our experience of the CBR offerings, this one too is expected to be a comfortable sports motorcycle.

Hiding behind the fairing of the CBR400R is a 400cc parallel twin DOHC 4-valve motor that is expected to have the refinement that Honda is renowned for. In terms of looks, the CBR400R looks sharper and a lot more aggressive than the smaller CBR250R as well as the CBR650F. The gold engine casing, massive chrome exhaust and the CBR650F like colour scheme are other noteworthy design elements. The CBR400R sports LED lights at the front as well as at the back.

Honda has smartly placed the CBR400R right in between the CBR250R and the CBR650F to fill the vacuum that was created between these two motorcycles. Honda says that the CBR400R will soon go on sale in the international market. In the Indian scenario, Honda is yet to bring in a product to go against the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the more recently launched Yamaha R3 and the Honda CBR400R is just the product to challenge these two.
