Riding the Bajaj Pulsar 150 - A Mixed Bag

Two years down the line with the Bajaj Pulsar 150, I had my fair share of highs and lows with this mid range performer. The 149 cc engine is robust, delivering a power of 14 PS which makes overtaking on highways a breeze. The mileage figure stands decently at around 50 km/l ,which is decent given the fluctuating fuel prices. However, despite its performance perks, the gear shifting is a bit clunky which can be a turnoff. Another downside for me has been the braking system which lacks the initial bite, although the bike is equipped with ABS.

Elevating the Riding Experience

The most attractive features of Bajaj Pulsar 150 is related to its price, built, the engine’s performance and the mileage. Backed with good management together with extensive service network, it satisfies riders to who look for the benefititure option on service orientated. But shortcomings are along the lines of fatigue after long rides, engine refinement worries, merely adequate brakes otherwise if not dual disc models, alleged build problems and lack of modern features. Well suited to city commuting, this specific scooter may not be the right one for people looking to have everything they necessarily need- comfort, advanced specs, and excellent build quality. Before concluding that you need to get the Pulsar 150, evaluate your riding needs, budget, and the alternatives you have.

Perform wheelies

Hello guys.So the bike i wanted from ages.I am 18 and this is my first bike.So.What to say about it.Its just insane.I have completed two services.Have achieved top speed of 112km/hr.I am a rash driver i usually rev it.Not much too. It's 5th gear is just lovable. No vibs till 100.Its just buttery smooth.Design is great.Power to weight ratio is slightly less. But still i perform wheelies.Look likes a big bike.Have drived 60-70km in a single go.And this just performed well.Stability is just insane there are no doubts about it.Mileage is not great in starting but yeah after services it gives what it meant for.Now prices are a little much for bs6.Nd is there at nearly the same price with more raw performance. But this bike is good in its own.

Spare parts

4.6

If we ask bajai customer care for a simple clarification, they would redirect us to showroom only. What is the use of this customer care ID. Useless. After getting to showroom, i came to know that Bajaj Neon is heavily priced. Not a budgeted vehicle. Cost is 25000 more than show room price (up to 15000 more is acceptable). They are misleading customers. Response for customer care email is also not clear. They wont give you details. They suggest you to go to showroom. But showroom will give you huge price for neon. Adding 6000 to that amount we could get a Apache rtr 4v abs single disc vehicle. Neon is old model with old spare parts. Their pricing is much high for a old stock vehicle parts.

Purchasing power

4.6

Moreover, Bangladesh’s transport sector is still struggling for self-defense and modernization. It is worth mentioning here that industrialization in the automotive industry is still in process.Even in the bike segment, There is not enough industry to provide quality bikes or motorcycles to the common people of bangladesh. As a result we have to depend on imports.Which is very expensive here in bangladesh. So, The price of bikes is not getting much higher in the control of the purchasing power of the common man.

The bike is insane at its

5.0

The bike is insane at its price point comfort it absolutely good handles are stable while riding at high speed and i use default braking to customisation in braking then the brakes are nice have dual disk brakes but single channel disk brakes, Ground clearance it too good perfect for rider for height 5.8ft and above.Mileage id good but depends upon the rider where or how he/she drives but the only fault is in the tank that pump inside it makes it bit difficult because it needs 2 liters minimum petrol in the tank otherwise the pump gets damaged and this makes no sense for reserve petrol feature in this bike but overall bike it very nice.
