BMW 7 Series Latest Updates
BMW has launched the seventh-generation 7 Series in India and has priced it at Rs 1.7 crore (ex-showroom). The flagship model is a CKD unit, unlike its electric cousin which is a completely imported unit. BMW has held back from bringing the V8 to our shores but a diesel powertrain is in the pipeline for an arrival later this year. BMW will flag off its deliveries from March 2023.
Features of BMW 7 Series : A new 31.3-inch 8K touchscreen display for the rear passengers is the highlight of the new 7 Series’ feature list. It also gets a 12.3-inch curved digital cockpit, a 14.9-inch infotainment system, powered front and rear seats with massage function, and ambient lighting. The luxury sedan can also be had with 5.5-inch touchscreen displays in the rear doors for rear seat telephony and media controls. It also features Level 3 Autonomous technology.
BMW 7 Series Engine : The India-spec model gets a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine, producing 380PS and 520Nm, which can be boosted up to 540PS with the help of the 48-V mild-hybrid system. Transmission duties are carried out by an eight-speed automatic gearbox. A diesel engine will be introduced later this year.

The space and comfort inside this car are unparalleled, making every journey feel like you are traveling first class. The 7 Series comes packed with top notch tech and safety features offering a blend of luxury and performance that is hard to beat. Powered by engines that can go up to 601 horsepower this car flies on highways yet remains astonishingly smooth.However, the sheer size of the BMW 7 Series makes it a bit challenging to maneuver through tight Indian streets.

BMW 7 series is a family-friendly car model and is my favourite. It is a compact yet spacious car and has a good seating capacity that is also very comfortable for the passengers. It has manual transmission and good mileage. The price range is very affordable and promises a great performance. The maintenance is quite manageable and service cost is average. I have had one of my best driving experiences with this car model.
