Mahindra XUV700

Mahindra has launched the XUV700 called the BLAZE Edition, based on the top-spec AX7 L variant. The prices for the Blaze Edition start at Rs 24.24 lakh (ex-showroom), a mere Rs 10,000 increment over the standard version. It comes in multiple drivetrain options including Petrol-MT, Diesel-MT, and Diesel-AT, all featuring front-wheel drive.

The BLAZE Edition boasts a distinctive 'Matte Blaze Red' exterior hue, complemented by a sleek black roof, wheels, and ORVMs. Inside, the cabin sports an all-black aesthetic with striking red stitching on the seats and vibrant red accents adorning the AC vents and center console. While there are no additional features introduced with this edition, it maintains the standout elements of the AX7 L variant, such as the panoramic sunroof, L2 ADAS, front seat ventilation, and dual 10.25” displays.

Features of Mahindra XUV700 : The Mahindra XUV700 comes equipped with a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12-speaker Sony 3D sound system, Alexa AI connectivity, and personalised voice safety alerts. Other features include a powered driver’s seat with memory function, ventilated front seats, memory ORVMs, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, keyless entry with push-button start, and ambient lighting. Safety features consist of seven airbags, ABS with EBD, a tyre pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and driver fatigue warning. It also includes ADAS features like forward collision warning, lane departure warning and high beam assist.

Mahindra XUV700 Engine : Mahindra offers the XUV700 with two powertrain options: a 200 PS/380 Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel. The latter is available in two states of tune: 156 PS/360 Nm (MX trim) and 185PS/450Nm (AX trim). The 156 PS diesel engine is paired to a 6-speed manual, while the remaining powertrains are available with both manual and 6-speed automatic options. The SUV comes with a front-wheel drivetrain as standard, and there’s an optional all-wheel drivetrain available with the diesel AX7 AT variant. It measures 4695 mm in length, 1890 mm in width, 1755 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2750mm.

Mahindra XUV700 Rivals : The 5-seater variant of the Mahindra XUV700 takes on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Tata Harrier, MG Astor and Hector. While the 7-seater variant rivals the likes of the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar.

Mahindra XUV700 Variants : The Mahindra XUV700 is available in two broad trims: MX and AX (Adrenox). The latter is available in four variants: AX3, AX5, AX7 and AX7L. MX trim is exclusively available as a 5-seater variant while the AX variants are available in both 5-seater and 7-seater options. Colour options include Everest White, Midnight Black (Dark Blue), Dazzling Silver, Reg Rage, Electric Blue and Napoli Black and Matte Blaze Red.
