Mercedes-Benz GLB Latest Updates
The Mercedes GLB 7-seater SUV will debut in India on December 2. The SUV can be pre-booked for a token amount of Rs 1.5 lakh. Alongside its all-electric version, the GLB will be the three-pointed star’s second seven-seater SUV alongside the GLS. No specifications have been released for the India-spec variants but the SUV is available in multiple powertrain options in markets abroad, including petrol and diesel powertrains. There’s also an AMG-variant of the SUV which offers a power boost in addition to the cosmetic and mechanical tweaks underneath the body.

After months of research, I decided to purchase the Mercedes-Benz GLB and it has been an exhilarating journey. The GLB is a compact SUV but do not let its size fool you, it packs a punch with a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine pushing 221 horsepower. Its handling is impeccable, providing a smooth experience even on India’s varied road conditions. The interiors are luxurious, with high quality materials and a user friendly infotainment system that features a 7 inch digital instrument cluster.However,The third row seating a selling point, is rather cramped, makes it suitable only for children or short journeys.

The Mercedes Benz GLB has been my latest adventure. As someone who loves road trips, the GLB's spacious interior and the option to have a third row have been absolute game changers. Not to mention, the turbocharged 2.0 liter engine with 221 hp makes for powerful drives through varied terrains. The rugged design combined with Mercedes luxury touches makes it a unique find. I have found the third row to be more suited for kids rather than adults for long journeys.On Indian roads known for sudden bumps and potholes, the GLB’s suspension felt a bit on the stiffer side.

The drive quality is swift and smooth. The range of the car is offered at an affordable price. Unique features that make this model stand apart include comfortable seats, especially for the driver. The only con is that it does not have the CNG option. Rest, according to me the maintenance does not cost a lot.
