A Daily Driver’s Perspective

After months of anticipation I finally got my hands on the Volkswagen Virtus and I have been driving it around for a good six months now. Its sleek modern design stands out in the crowd. Under the hood, the 1.0 liter TSI engine producing 115 PS of power and 178 Nm of torque offers a smooth and peppy ride which is perfect for city commutes and occasional highway sprints. The cabin space is generous comfortably seating five adults and the 521 liter boot capacity means weekend getaways are awesome.

Decent performer sedan

The torque in this car is very high so the driving experience is very amazing and the city and highway riding is very good. The power is more than sufficient and is also fun to drive i have done 10000 km with this sedan and when i drive this car absolutely love and the steering is very light. Even the high speed stabiility is also very good and is also good on the bad roads and the mileage in the city is around 12 to 13 kmpl and for the highway it gives 16 to 18 kmpl.

Volkswagen Virtus: Not Just Another Sedan

The decision to buy the Volkswagen Virtus was driven by my desire for a sedan that did not just perform but also had a character. Having driven the Virtus for around a year, I have the mix of impressions that highlight its strengths and expose its few shortcomings.Performance wise, The Virtus does not disappoint. Equipped with a powerful 1.0L TSI engine, it offers a thrilling 115PS of power matched with a robust 178Nm torque ensuring a spirited driving experience. The design and build quality reflect Volkswagen's attention to detail, making it a head turner. But the maintenance cost is a bit on the higher side.

Volkswagen Virtus Pros and Cons

Virtus Positives Points: Clean styling that will not feel outdated quickly, spacious interior for 4 adults, features like a sunroof and easy to use touchscreen, both engine options offer good performance

Virtus Negatives Points: Interior quality should have been better, mileage in bad traffic is low

Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The Virtus is a good balance for someone who wants a family car that is both classy in design and fun to drive
