Even though its much better compared to most major cities, I guess they want to keep pollution in check for a state which is very highly dependent on tourism. In Kerala, I think the main concern and where NGT should ideally be trying to find a solution is water pollution, not air. Water-based industries have been spewing waste into waterbodies for a long time now. NGT should seriously channel their 'wrath' on these industries and leave the common man alone. How many of you out here think this move is a vendetta against the people of Kerala for not voting a BJP government to power? I do.
