Q.New Pajero Sport, can Mitsubishi pull it off?

Front end has a Alien-ish look which you can digest(so does the upcoming Fortuner) but the rear is just plain HIDEOUS ! Looks like somebody parked the car in the sun for long and it sort of melted and dripped down.The Tail light especially has this meltdown effect :confused: The Interiors looks well put together and has a premium look.I particularly liked the new steering wheel and the chunky door handles.

The Pajero Sport is the only model sold by Mitsubishi in India. The Pajero did give a fight to the smash hit Toyota Fortuner, which still sells like hot-cakes after all these years, but could not achieve the cult status its predecessor had attained in its time. In spite of this, the brand still maintains a healthy fan following out here. [CENTER] [ATTACH=CONFIG]n1404[/ATTACH] [/CENTER] Mitsubishi hopes to revive its fortunes with the launch of the all-new Pajero Sport, scheduled to hit Indian markets by early 2016 and will possibly be launched at the Delhi Auto Expo next year. The design is nothing but in your face with acres of chrome splashed around. Dual-slated chrome grill upfront blends with that sleek projector headlamps with LED DRLs. The C-shaped chrome inserts extending from the headlamps to the lower bumper give it a menacing look, but looks a bit overdone. The large black grille extends in the background below all those chrome inserts. Skid plate and small fog lamps complete the front end. [CENTER] [ATTACH=CONFIG]n1405[/ATTACH] [/CENTER] Ground clearance is evident from the profile, the CRV-inspired window line and squarish wheel wells don't blend well and looks a bit awkward even for an SUV. Inverted Volvo-like tail lights stands out in the rear but does not particularly look nice either. The interiors are similar to what we have seen in current models of Pajero, large silver trims, leather seats and large infotainment screen and a gloss black finish for the central console gives it a more premium feel.
