We made one wrong turn - turning one road earlier than needed to head towards the Gwalior highway, which led us through a maze. But because it was so early in the morning, we got through easily enough.

I can't imagine how crowded that little road would have been if we were there any later. We could've lost so much time trying to get out of those narrow lanes.
If you were there any later, we'd probably be having this discussion face to face in Pune right now! And I'd be telling you to tank up at Shell on the way to Thane! ;)

I can't imagine how crowded that little road would have been if we were there any later. We could've lost so much time trying to get out of those narrow lanes. Thank goodness luck was on our side throughout the trip and we didn't face any issues on this 5000km adventure.
Awesome travellogue! I'm surprised Agra doesn't have a bypass. You look like you've actually entered the core city/town. :(
A bypass is being built right now. The road is still under construction, so for the moment you have to go through Agra city to reach the Gwalior highway. We made one wrong turn - turning one road earlier than needed to head towards the Gwalior highway, which led us through a maze. But because it was so early in the morning, we got through easily enough.
