To cater to the increasing demand of their scooters (around 65% of the sales come from scooters), Honda is now planning to invest INR 600 Crore in a plant in Karnataka. It is surprising that there is no red-tape issues from the side of the government, considering the plant is at Narasarpura! The new line in the plant will help double the production of Navi. The existing production capacity of the plant is 1.8 million units and the new line is capable of adding another 600,000 units annually. Honda aims to increase the cumulative production capacity from 5.4 million units to 5.8 million units by end of financial year 2017.

And yeah, that paint job on a Bullet Classic will be epic. Royal Enfield, are you listening?

JijoMalayil The bikes can be modified, but I don't think radical modification such as the Adventure edition will make it to the showrooms. Practically speaking, the adventure kit makes no sense other than look really cool. But who knows, if Honda can bring a quirky looking scooter, they sure can bring the adventure kit too! I love the paint scheme on the adventure Navi, though. That paint job would look absolutely killer in a Royal Enfield Classic, don't you think?
