All the brands that VW owns have some really good cars and what makes them special is the unique characteristics each of them have. For the sake of lower production costs, they will be massively taking away from what the enthusiasts and owners of their cars enjoy the most. I mean consider these 2 cars, the Audi A6 and Skoda Superb. In 2003, when the first editon of the Superb was launched in India, it sold along side the bigger car and they were distinctively different from each other. Cut to 2016, the new Superb is only marginally smaller than the current A6 Matrix and they have more or less the same features as well, except for the fancy damper control on the latter. This truly doesnt justify the almost double price-tag!
