Roshun Think of the job where cars you love and dream about are crashed and destroyed in front of you every day. You see beautiful, expensive machines coming daily, some which you may never be able to afford or drive, and then you have to crash it and see it getting shattered. It's not just the car, even the guy's heart would shatter with each crash. Then you see these things which you would never like. A person who doesn't play golf would just hate the vehicle. No power, bad handling, chances of rolling over, it's all a disaster anyway. That is something you would love to see crashed. Now, if it's a person who doesn't like shopping. He/she is forced to go shopping with friends and family , wasting time and causing more frustration. Now, when you find a shopping trolley which reminds you of that experience, you would try to break it. It doesn't break at slow speeds. You get more frustrated. You find out a way to make it faster, doesn't break again. Then you end up making it so fast that you are sure it will break. Finally, it breaks. For a change a crash that brings a smile on your face. Some joy that would help you survive through the next new Jaguar you have to crash the next day. Please, let's for a change be happy seeing a crash test . #CrashAchheHai
There's something wrong with the ventilation system at Euro NCAPs facilities methinks!
Well, after watching destroying countless cars to improve safety standards - they need to do something to vent out steam too.
"Originally posted by Arjun" NikilSJ It appears that the shopping cart is safer than many Indian cars. Does that call for another Jugaad. Shopping carts with engines where you can step on? ;)
Why would anyone take a shopping cart to 117 kmph? I mean to get it to that speed you've got to drop it off a building and let it reach terminal velocity! Crashing a shopping cart at 18 kmph is understandable, because accidents do happen in mall parking lots with runaway shopping carts. But at 117 kmph? There's something wrong with the ventilation system at Euro NCAPs facilities methinks! And a golf cart at 50 kmph? Who drives a golf cart that fast on a course anyway? And what are you expecting to crash into? A tree? Euro NCAP seriously needs more vehicles to test.
