[QUOTE_NODE]"Originally posted by KPR" Good to see sporty hatchbacks like the Abarth Punto, the Polo GT and now the Swift Sport coming to India. But Maruti Suzuki, please work on the brakes in case a Sport version is released. For the power that this car produces, the brakes should be adequate and not just enough. Safety is paramount and not just power. [/QUOTE_NODE] That's a good point you have raised there. The Baleno platform that will be the base for the Swift Sport is lightweight and Maruti Suzuki keeps boasting about how light it is. But this has also meant that the Baleno's not very crash-worthy. Even though Maruti Suzuki says the Baleno has very tough and absorbent crash structure, it doesn't look like that at least going by the pictures of various crashed Balenos.

[QUOTE_NODE]"Originally posted by Kavinraj_Karupanna_Gounder_Subramanian" NikilSJThen this is the right time for TATA to launch their Tiago Sport. Only then it can see some decent numbers of the vehicles on the roads. Swift has already proved its reliability to Indians and Tiago is yet to secure such a place. So if TATA is delaying in launching Tiago Sport, then that means there are more chances of it being an immediate failure. [/QUOTE_NODE] The Tiago Sport will be a fun car to drive. The stock Tiago itself handles really well. With more power, I'm sure it will be even better. Also, the Tiago Sport, when launched, will be the most affordable hot hatch in the market. But like you rightly pointed out, Tata has to do some serious work to improve the brand's perception. Even though the Tiago is one of the best cars to come from Tata in a long while, we have been hearing a couple of reports regarding its reliability - especially the diesel variant.

But MS please work on the brakes in case a Sport version is released. For the power that this car produces, the brakes should alway be adequate and not just enough. It has been spotted with all-wheel disc brakes and I really hope MS tunes the brakes well, as Baleno is notorious for its flimsy built quality! Similar case with the new Swift, as it being built on the same lightweight platform as the Baleno.
