Bajaj is not providing good and satisfactory services to its costumers, I'm also one among them.😥, I'm surprised to see honda at 4th place, suzuki deserves second place, pakka😍😋

I find it better to give the bike to the service center as long as it has warranty. Once that gets over, I'll start exploring aftermarket options. I think that's the safest way of maintaining a bike. But if one knows a mechanic, then it is fine, I guess. Because the trust factor is there. Also, it is good to befriend one particular service representative and contact that person whenever you give your bike for service. That way, there's a higher chance of your issues getting sorted without having to tell them repeatedly

More or less all two wheeler dealers are pro active in giving reminder about service due. Because it is money. They have put computerized systems to create reminders to owners. So make money by brining owners on time! 10 years back when I purchased a Yamaha libero, I need to follow through the manual ODO reading to not to miss dates, but oflate during my recent purchase of hero pleasure (in 2015) the dealer chase me for service. This is happening for my friend's jupiter with TVS dealer. Whether niggles are addressed? There is no change in Human behaviour! Still persists.

I had gone to get the Navi for review and they didn't have the bike's papers with them that time. Apparently, the guy in charge of the RC book was on leave and they were not able to access the records. The guy in the dealer was like, 'Chill, nobody's going to stop you.' How can they say that? The fact that TVS and Suzuki have a relatively lower workload in their service centers than Honda makes sense, though. It is appalling to know that the Honda service guys are that ignorant when it comes to product portfolio! The problem is, mass-market manufacturers often have underqualified people in the dealerships. Whereas premium manufacturers appoint people who know stuff, people who are passionate about riding.

Of the bikes, I have used, I found Honda service one of the worst. Its just that their bikes are built so good that many issues don't come up. From the showroom experience to the service, the Honda dealers are one of the worst to deal with. Many times, they expect that you would buy a vehicle without a test ride. When I had asked for the test ride of CBR 250, after calling and confirming before going, the dealer offered me a 150 saying its the same just little lower on power. Went ahead to say ABS is unnecessary and that 150 will give better fuel efficiency and looks the same. I never got a test drive of the CBR 250 after going around 4 showrooms in Bangalore. Later , for my friends and family I have gone for the purchase of an Activa 125 and Navi. Both the experiences were not too good. The entire lack of interest of the showroom guys , kills the excitement of a vehicle buyer. Both the times, they wanted to take us with the payment and registration formalities even before showing us the vehicle. The delivery was delayed by many hours both times. The Navi's accessories are still not available after 4 months. Most of the Honda showrooms handle too many bikes at a time. I have noticed in two service centers in Bangalore, that the service advisor hardly has any interest in finding out the issue. Before, you explain it, they are eager to diagnose it and go ahead. Not once has the Service advisor taken a test ride to check the noise I am mentioning. In the end, even after the service, many times half the issues remain unresolved as they didn't bother to listen. Can't blame the service advisors entirely as they seem to believe in quantity than quality. The more numbers of bikes they take the better. On the other hand, with TVS and Suzuki, the load is lesser and hence the service advisor takes time to understand the issue. As the number of customers are lesser, there is a probability that you will get the same advisor and he may remember you. This gives a personalized feel to the entire experience.

I feel, even if they integrate their service centers along with the showrooms, it will have a positive impact on their business. And yeah, I am also surprised seeing Honda at the fifth position. I had a pretty good experience with them when I was riding a CB Unicorn Dazzler.

Power, a company that surveys consumers and companies and then releases data based on a specific set of parameters and scoring system. Four circles mean 'Better than most'. They score slightly lower than the five circled ones. Three circles is the average, that is, they score ten percent more than the average range (and below 20 percent) in the segment. Two circles represent companies scoring below 20 percent of the average range in the segment. There is no rating any lower than this one. TVS has scored a full 5 stars for overall satisfaction while Royal Enfield and Yamaha received four stars. Honda and Hero scored three stars. The worst performer, according to the survey, was Bajaj and Mahindra with two stars each. Interestingly, Yamaha seems to be among the best and despite that, it is not doing so well in the market, especially when it comes to selling sporty commuters. The R3 tanked because of the ridiculous pricing and the FZ/ Fazer and R15 are all getting too long in the tooth as well. Only Fascino is selling well, I think. Mahindra needs to work on their service centers big time. They have pretty decent portfolio but bad service experience and the general lack of service centers are becoming a concern for prospective customers. What do you think?
