Q.KTM to Launch Updated RC 390 and RC 200 on January 19

KTM's track tools, the RC twins will receive much-needed updates in its 2017 guise. The bikes with the updates were displayed before but unfortunately didn't make it here that time. Now, the bikes are finally going to enter our shores on the 19th of this month and it's really worth getting excited about. Want to know why? Well, for starters, the new RC twins now have Euro 4 compliant, counterbalanced engines. The RC 390 now gets a minor bump in the torque- it now makes 36 Nm at 7,000 rpm and the power remains the same at 43.5 PS at 9,500 rpm. The front brake discs are also larger, at 320mm. Switchable ABS, slipper clutch are standard and apart from this, the new RC 390 also gets a ride-by-wire throttle system which electronically modulates the throttle position for more responsiveness. The underbelly exhaust has been done away with and now the new RC 390 gets a conventional side mounted can made of aluminum. The rider's seat now gets an additional 12mm of cushioning for better ride quality. To make the riding experience even more versatile, the new RC 390 gets adjustable brake and clutch levers. At 25.8 PS of peak power and 19.2 Nm of torque, the performance figures for the new RC200 remain the same.
