Instead of waiting, you can actually go ahead with the Gixxer SF Fi. It is bs 4 compliant and comes with the added advantage of fairing too. Meaning, the bike will be more aerodynamic than the Gixxer and will result in less rider fatigue. Hope this helps. Also, do note that fuel injection systems are more complicated than carburetors.
