The Wranglers are supposed to be competent. I've read good things about them. My Scorpio is well into its second set of Yokos and they have been doing a very fine job. Roshun Did the Pirellis somehow come fitted with your new Scorpio?
The Pirelli Scorpion ATR tyres are aftermarket. I drove the car straight from the showroom to the tyre dealer and swapped the BridgeStone Dueler HTs for the Pirelli Scorpions as I need all-terrain tyres. The BridgeStones are OK for highway drives, but not that good off-road. I wanted a tyre that was competent with both and the Pirellis came highly recommended. Have also read rave reviews about them. My older Scorpio is on its second set of Yokohama Geolandar ATS's and they are going just fine at about 48,000 km now (total mileage on that Scorp is now 1,89,000 km).

GoodYear Wrangler HP tyres? They are decent tyres too and won't break the bank, compared to the cost of the Pirellis. If you are on a tight budget, the GoodYear Wrangler HP is a decent all-terrain tyre to go for. I think they cost about Rs. 10k a piece, about the same as the Yokos.
