[USER="1062"]Sourabh Mehta[/USER] the Swift Dzire has been around for ages and there are quite a lot of them on the roads these days. While it does offer the extra space and reliability usually associated with Maruti, I suggest you go for the Kwid especially if it meets all your requirements. However, like [USER="135"]JOY MRC[/USER] says it would probably be best if you wait for the 1-litre Kwid or you could even consider the Mahindra KUV100.

It would be the Kwid for me every time, I know Renault do have their faults but the Kwid is a lovely little car and IMO much nicer than the Swift

If the KWID fulfill's your requirements, then there's no point spending more money on a depreciating asset. Only plus is that the Dzire has ABS and Airbags (plus a more powerful motor) on offer which is absent on Kwid. A 1.0L Kwid is expected soon which will have more power and pep than the existing variant. Test drive the KWID on sloping areas as well than smooth straight roads to know if the car has enough pep that you are looking for. If it does, pick up the Kwid. NB : KWID like looks at Dzire money (even less) can be achieved with the Mahindra KUV100. It has more safety features than the KWID and you can opt for it even from the base variants.

I am looking to buy a new car and confused between the Renault Kwid and Maruti Suzuki Dzire. The Renault Kwid fulfils all my requirement like design, space, fuel economy, bigger boot, navigation touch console and I mostly drive not more than 90 kmph. I can afford Dzire also but is it justified to spend Rs 2.50 lakh more for it.
