Hi manas sarma if you are only going to use it for three days a week and are planning to go on a road trip once in three months, I'd suggest you go for the petrol variant. The diesel only makes sense if you are planning to drive regularly and cover close to 1000km per month. Otherwise the cost of maintaining a diesel vehicle just doesn't make sense. Also, would the Creta be your first car and are you planning to get the manual or automatic gearbox?

I am planning to buy the Hyundai Creta. My concern is that I would drive my car 3 days a week for distances like 15km per day and I go on long drives every 3 months or so for distances of over 500km. So my question is should I choose the diesel or petrol variant?
