It had a production budget of more than a million dollars. It took 606 retakes to get the whole sequence in one shot. This was also one of the earliest videos to go 'viral'. The ad was shared and seen even in the markets the car was not sold in. It focussed on the Japanese precision that Honda wanted to showcase. I think its still one of the most watched automotive commercials till date.
