Calling all folks in the NCR region who are passionate about off-roading. Here's a chance to get to know the mechanicals of your 4x4 vehicle, be it a Mahindra Thar, Maruti Gypsy, Skoda Yeti, Mahindra Scorpio, Tata Safari, Toyota Fortuner or just about any four-wheel drive. See details below:
Here's a two part program that has been chalked out just for you. A big shout out to Hitesh Madhok of Made 4x4 Concepts and Neeloy Sarkar of Terrain Tigers for helping put this together.
Date: Friday, March 18, 2016
Time: 6pm-8pm
Venue: Made 4x4 Concepts WorkShop, Kishangarh, Vasant Kunj (See Map)
Program: 4x4 Classroom
> Understanding how a 4x4 works
> Types of 4x4s
> Looking at the parts of a 4x4 vehicle
> Basic theory on how to use a 4x4 vehicle off-road
This will be followed by coffee, snacks and conversation at Cafe Connect, Vasant Kunj.
Date: Saturday, March 19, 2016
Time: 7.30am - 10.30 am
Venue: Golf Course Extension Road (is the meeting point)
Program: Join Terrain Tigers on an Off-Road Drive in Gurgaon. Those with 4x4 vehicles can bring them as well. Tackle obstacles, try out various techniques for off-roading, and if you get stuck, some recovery techniques too :-)
Bring a tow rope, plenty of drinking water and an open mind to fill with loads of fun! Don't have a 4x4? No sweat, hop on with any of the others. We're sure at the end of it, you will definitely want one!
