Lovely to see the confirmations pouring in here as well as on the Terrain Tigers and ZigWheels Facebook pages. We're going to have a good time! Tomorrow, evening at 6pm we start with a Classroom session at Made 4x4 Concepts workshop in Vasant Kunj (Map in first post). There's not much parking, so you'll have to park on the road leading into Kishengarh, near A-block car market. Hitesh, who runs Made 4x4 Concepts, and I will conduct the session - it's very informal and we're looking forward to loads of questions and interactions - on just about any 4x4. You can see some of the parts as well of a 4x4 at the workshop. We'll then take our discussions to Cafe Connect, just a few metres away from Made 4x4 Concepts.
Then, on Saturday, we assemble at Terrain Tiger's den - at the end of Golf Course Road, opposite Hilton Double Tree Hotel (SEE MAP) at 7.30 am. The Tigers will take us along for an OTR where you can experience the practical side of 4x4ing. It's a moderate track - any 4x4 can do it, so bring your SUVs, all-wheel drive crossovers, whatever. Let's have some fun, folks!Drink coffee and drive!

What a weekend it was! Starting off, with the classroom session on Friday evening at Made 4x4 Concepts Workshop in Kishangarh, Vasant Kunj. Hitesh Madhok has a really nice set up with a basement full of off-road equipment and seating area, and a workshop on the ground floor. The evening started off with a whole bunch of 4x4 enthusiasts meeting up - around 25 odd folks. We had a presentation on the basics of 4x4s. That presentation is in the slides below. Those who missed it, take a look you may find it useful. It was great to have Sumeer Tandon, the man who built the RFC Challenge Force Gurkhas come in as our special guest to share his experiences too. Please feel free to ping us for any questions you have on the PPT below.

After Friday’s classroom session on off-roading at Hitesh's Made 4x4 Concepts workshop in Kishangarh, Vasant Kunj on Friday, all of us couldn’t wait for the next days OTR session with Terrain Tigers in Gurgaon.
Neeloy Sarkar with his Gypsy
Lining up to tackle a steep incline. There were steep inclines of all kinds to test the capability of the machines that took part.
The Pajero's rear differential got beached and had to be pulled out by...
...Roshun's Red Beast. That's Sukhpreet bolting the tow strap to Roshun's Scorpio.
Two veteran off-roaders (Neeloy and Roshun) at the helm, the rescue was a fairly easy one.
A crowd looks on...
as a Thar takes the plunge...
...and makes it back in one piece.
Neeloy and his Gypsy defy gravity!
The Thars cool their heels...
...while a crowd gathers.
Sukhpreet's long-term Tata Zest made it this far...
...which sent the goats into a tizzy!
Pajero gets beached again. Stud that he is, Sukhpreet goes to help.
Gypsy goes airborne!
Flexing muscles OTR-style!
Lining up for the group shot.
