  • Want To Buy A New Car Under Rs 5.5 lakh

I want to buy a new car under Rs 5.5 lakh price range. Which one is better among TATA TIAGO XZ , CELERIO ZXI,GRAND I10 MAGNA & NISSAN MICRA ACTIVE XV. Pls suggest.

    Hi,

    Can go for Tiago XZ...
Tiago is loaded with lots of features which you may not find in some of the premium hatchbacks. Rest go to the showroom, do test drive and check all the features and i hope you will find it far much better than celerio and Grand i10 magna...rest you can check features of the car here online...and compare it with its rivals....

    Regards,

As per the brand perspective , customer feedback & resale value it will be better to go with TATA than Maruti or Hyundai???

RAJIB84 of the cars you've selected the Tiago is the most promising one. I haven't driven one yet, but on paper, the Tiago seems a better buy than the others. Also, you would be buying the frshest carof the lot. For a spec-by-spec comparison, click here.
Here's a link for more information on the Tata Tiago: http://www.zigwheels.com/forum/posts...tiago-launched
Finally, here's Akshat Pokhriyal's detailed reason on why you should pick the Tiago over the Grand i10: http://www.zigwheels.com/forum/topic...-vs-tata-tiago
I hope this information will be of help to you. Let us know what you finally decide on.
        Cheers

RAJIB84 till a couple of months ago, I wouldn't have suggested a Tata car to anyone because Maruti and Hyundai were better in terms of after-sales service and resale value, but Tata has really turned things around with the Tiago. They have worked really hard on making a good product in the Tiago. The interior design, for expamle, is thoroughly modern and is better equipped than what the competition offers. CorsaVeloce did an endurance run with he Tiago and he came back impressed with its reliability and performance. He could clear any dowbts you have on the Tiago.

The Tiago does look like the better option amongst all the options you have RAJIB84 , I will agree with Ravinder Singh and NikilSJ.

In terms of "brand perspective, customer feedback & resale value" though, Maruti and Hyundai trump Tata.
            Be nice

The Tata Tiago is a very capable car and comes loaded with features that most of it's competitors don't have. The Harman audio system, steering mounted controls and standard ABS are some of the cool things of this car that make it better than most of the cars you have listed.
Having said that, given your budget, you could consider getting the Nissan Micra or even the lower variant of the Mahindra KUV100. The KUV is doing very well and offers a lot of practicality and comfort. It also gets a good host of features.
