Toyota Etios Liva LE vs Hyundai Grand i10 Asta vs Nissan Micra XV
Please help me choose the best car under Rs 6.5 lakhs. My running is low, under 500 kms in a month. I prefer ABS and airbags. All above quoted cars are petrol version, and all have ABS and airbags.

Between the three cars you have chosen, the Toyota Etios Liva is the only one to offer ABS and Airbags as standard in all variants. Now, choosing between these would depend on what you need in the car. Etios Liva is spacious, but does not offer you any features. Grand i10 would offer you plenty of features, and also offer you the most power (84PS) compared to the Micra and Etios Liva. It also comes with rear AC vents. Micra is fun to drive, has good features, but is also the most expensive among these. If you want a good mix of everything, pick the Grand i10.

Yup, my vote goes for the i10 Grand as well. It's the more well rounded car among the 3. Not to mention Hyundai's reliable 3S network and better resale value. Next up would be the Micra.

Go for the Grand i10, for a well-rounded package in this segment. Hyundai service and after-sales network is also much more stronger than the other two brands. You have the option of a 4-speed auto box on the Grand i10, but better to avoid it. It is extremely sluggish!

Grand i10 is the best option among your choices here cmesh. Rs. 6.72 lakh on-road for the Asta (O) variant, not accounting for discounts, in Delhi. The Magna automatic variant costs Rs 6.4 on-road, and next up is the Sportz variant at Rs 6.05 lakh on-road.
          Be nice

Cmesh I would also suggest you to go the Grand i10. The features list is quite impressive for a hatchback in this price range. However, if you are looking for a driver's car, I'd say it's best to for the Nissan Micra. Yes, it is more expensive than the others and there may not be as many Nissan service outlets as Hyundai, but the Micra is an impressive car overall.

Cmesh, the Grand i10 comes in four variants - Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta. There is even a Sportz special edition on sale right now too. If you want a fully loaded Grand i10, the one to go for is the Sportz special edition or the Asta. The Magna and Sportz variants come with Immobiliser, Central Locking, Front Fog Lamps, Day & Night Inside Rearview Mirror, Body Coloured Bumpers, Tailgate Handle, Outside Door Mirrors and Door Handles among others. These two variants however come with full wheel covers instead of alloy wheels. The Asta variant gets all of the above along with Passenger Airbag, ABS, Chrome Door Handles, Roof Rails, Turn Indicator in ORVMs, Rear Spoiler, Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels, Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel and a 2-DIN Integrated MP3 Player and steering mounted audio controls (the Sportz variant gets the last two features too). However, the Sportz special edition is currently the most feature packed (except for the lack of ABS and alloy wheels that is). That is because this special edition comes with a 2-tone red and black interior instead of the plain looking beige and black trim. The stand-out bit is obviously the 6.2-inch touchscreen music system.

The only real miss if you end up choosing any of the other two cars compared to the Grand i10 Asta would be the rear AC vents and the infotainment system that has 1GB of internal storage. Everything else is also available in the Micra (power-folding mirrors, push-button start, keyless entry, climate control - Grand i10 in fact has only manual HVAC)
In terms of maintenance costs, the Grand i10 may be slightly cheaper than the Micra.

Even I agree with Grand i10. Good car with good features. Hyundai after sales services are also great but will be pricey after 4 to 5 years. If you are not particular about those listed cars considered by you, you can even have a test drive Tata Tiago. With less than 6 lacs(Petrol XT) you will get all the features in the top end. Tata has done a brilliant job in designing Tiago.

Yes,of the 3 cars you've listed the Grand i10 is the better car.The engine is peppy, the build quality and feel is really good and the maintenance cost is low.The hyundai network is also better than the others. Not on the list but,The TATA Tiago is the only fair competition to the Grand i10.It gives a lot of bang for the buck at the current price and it is the best built TATA car so far.Consider taking a testdrive of that also.Regards...
