JijoMalayil It's sad to see Bajaj going the 'Honda' way when it comes to updating the bikes. If this news is true, then I don't understand why they haven't introduced the BS 4 model! It doesn't make sense to mildly facelift a product that not only badly needs a major makeover but also better emission compliance! Considering the amount of tech the near-future competition will offer, I don't think people will even bother to look at the Pulsar, don't you think?

Does the Pulsar Rs 200 has a 2017 variant? If it has, when will it be launched?

Nanban_Abu Considering how Bajaj is 'updating' the bikes now, I wouldn't expect too much from the RS 200 either. It is most likely to come with a BS 4 compliant engine and maybe some minor styling changes and sticker jobs. The launch will probably take place after the VS 400, updated Pulsar 150/180 are all launched. If you're looking to buy a new bike, do wait for the updated KTM Duke twins. The new Duke 200 and 390 are likely to be launched in January and deliveries will begin in April. They have got some serious tech (ride-by-wire, counterbalanced engine, multi-information, smartphone compatible display and whatnot) and I feel it will definitely be a hit in the market. The details of the upcoming KTM Duke are updated here.

Well, bike looks the same and making only cosmetic changes would be a deal breaker, I own a 220 since 2010 and seriously, it's too old now. Bajaj could have used new generation engines like on RS200, improved build quality, fit and finish and the most important upgrade would be improved brakes with optional ABS.

I use a Pulsar 150 bike. The mileage I get is only 20 to 25 kmpl. So to get better mileage, what should I do?

(Translated: mileage 20 to 25 than kedaikuthu so mileage athigama kidaika enna pannanun😍 )

Abhishek Singh True. Bajaj has proved themselves they can design radical looking bikes with the NS and RS 200. Even the AS twins look good. I wonder why Bajaj isn't taking much effort to tap into one of the largest segments in the Indian automotive scene- the commuter segment. It feels like they are just resting on their laurels with the Pulsar series. The Dominar 400 is likely to stir up some action in the budget performance segment and I really hope Bajaj does something unique/ interesting for the commuter segment as well.

2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 135 LS Launched:

Bajaj has updated the Pulsar 180 and 135 LS to BS 4 compliance. Oddly, the Pulsar 150 doesn't get emission upgrades as the new version is still BS 3 compliant. The power outputs of all the three bikes remain the same as the previous generation ones. Here are the changes made in the bikes:\

The 2017 Pulsar collection is christened as Laser Edged collection. I have no idea why is it named like that. I feel the bare-bones upgrades have been made just for the sake of keeping the bikes in the market. What do you guys think?

Hi.. When can we expect 150NS in the market? Is that sure it will launch in India? Which one is best, Honda Hornet or Pulsar 150NS?

King_karthik The Pulsar 150 NS is not likely to be launched in India anytime soon. The Honda Hornet is a good allrounder with a refined, fuel-efficient engine and one of the best-in-class Combined Braking System (CBS). If you're looking to buy a new motorcycle, waiting for the Pulsar 150 NS will be futile, I feel.
