That means the Punto Pure gets that gorgeous lines penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro and that pretty nose. However, Fiat hasn’t given the car the new dashboard that is available on the Punto Evo currently on sale. The Fiat Punto Pure is for people who want the dynamics and sportiness of a Punto but can't necessarily afford the Punto Evo.

The Punto Pure gets 15-inch alloy wheels, same as the ones on the pre-facelift Punto

The Punto Pure gets the dashboard from the pre-facelift version. A bit disappointing if you ask me.

The hatchback is even offered in the top of the line Emotion variant any more. It does, however get 15-inch alloy wheels. So you blacked-out ORVMs and door handles.

The plastic quality and fit-and-finish isn't too great inside.

All-in-all, the Punto Pure looks like a budget hatch and it is sad Fiat has downgraded the car in its product portfolio and that's a bit dissapointing.

The Punto Evo has started gaining popularity in the Taxi segment, and the Punto Pure, with a cheaper price point, would be a good option for the cab markets.
Also, some self drive rental companies have been usingthe Linea and they would sure go for the Punto Pure. With safe cars which are cheap to buy and fun to drive on the highways, both the customers and rental companies would be happy. As this would clubbed with the Punto Evo in the sales reports, it will help Fiat gain a few more hundreds in the sales reports.
I know a lot about cars, man. I can look at any car's headlights and tell you exactly which way it's coming.

Arjun That should be the case as with the Linea Classic.but this is even cut price-feature less than the Classic. The Alloys seems to be just put on for the expo.i dont think these would be there in the package as even the mirrors and handles don't get body coloring on the top variant.Sad to see it all stripped down like this

I don't know as an owner of Grande punto 90HP, if it is good or bad news as the spares should be readily available if they are targeting the taxi segment, but at the same time the resale would take a hit.

It's sad to see that such a great car has to stoop so low to get some numbers. I think the Punto is all but dead in India! But like chonda said thats good news with people with a pre-facelift Punto as spares would be readily available.

chonda if the resale value takes a hit and I have all the resources, I would definitely buy every one of them and maintain them as they are, at least to me, one of the most beautiful cars to look at.

Here in the UK the Punto appears to be on its last legs, it is still selling but the design, especially the interior looks so tired to me.

I actually sold Fiats back in '97 and the Punto was our bread and butter back then we couldn't get them in fast enough - sorry for reminiscing there guys 💤
