Fiat India launched the Punto Pure edition today at the 16th Auto Expo in Greater Noida. The Pure edition is a pre-facelift version of the Punto Evo that is currently on sale here.
That means the Punto Pure gets that gorgeous lines penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro and that pretty nose. However, Fiat hasn’t given the car the new dashboard that is available on the Punto Evo currently on sale. The Fiat Punto Pure is for people who want the dynamics and sportiness of a Punto but can't necessarily afford the Punto Evo.
The Punto Pure gets 15-inch alloy wheels, same as the ones on the pre-facelift Punto
Cheap looking ORVM with matte finish
The Punto Pure gets the dashboard from the pre-facelift version. A bit disappointing if you ask me.
The hatchback is even offered in the top of the line Emotion variant any more. It does, however get 15-inch alloy wheels. So you blacked-out ORVMs and door handles.
The gear lever looks low-rent.
The Punto Pure edition doesn't even get a rear parcel shelf
The plastic quality and fit-and-finish isn't too great inside.
All-in-all, the Punto Pure looks like a budget hatch and it is sad Fiat has downgraded the car in its product portfolio and that's a bit dissapointing.
