  • Auto Expo 2016: Datsun Showcases Go-Cross Concept

Datsun Go-Cross concept was showcased at the Indian Auto Expo 2016. The Go-Cross concept was unveiled in October at Nissan head-quarters in Yokohama. This is a crossover based on the Go+, this comes at a time where we have seen huge growth in the crossover/ compact SUV segment in India.

Aggressive angular headlamps and high set fog lamps along with the signature Datsun-grille dominate the front fascia. LED DRLs are neatly integrated into the front bumper.

Plastic cladding all around and roof-rails will definitely appeal to the SUV/off-road enthusiasts. Specifications are not been revealed but expect the same 1.2 litre petrol motor that powers Datsun Go+.

It would be great to see what this car becomes when it comes to Production. This version looks like a concept version, and does not go with the budget market strategy of Datsun. It sure looks like its raining compact SUVs this year.
I know a lot about cars, man. I can look at any car's headlights and tell you exactly which way it's coming.

Not just compact SUVs, but sedans as well. Like the VW Ameo. The focus area for OEMs is compact - SUVs. Sedans and engines.
