Last week, my brother got into an accident in his Toyota Innova. He was trying to overtake a Honda city and at the very moment, the City's right side tyre burst and the car hit the Innova. It then rolled thrice and went off the road, towards the buses parked on the side. So friends, please be careful and do not lose focus while driving.

Ouch! It's heartbreaking to see a brand new car in such a horrible condition.
You're right Roshun, looking at which airbags deployed, it appears to be a 'lost control over a bend and car rolled over' kind of accident.
I wonder if the people inside survived. Especially the driver- the roof seems to have caved in quite badly [also gives us an idea of what speeds he must be doing].
Although they wouldn't matter in this kind of a situation, I'm curious, what is the crash test results on the new Fortuner?

Jumping the traffic signal not only result in a challan but also some grave accidents. Speeding to cross a traffic signal when the yellow light is on, and just before the red lights comes on is a common sight on our Indian roads. See what happened in Kolkata. This driver who was reported to be doing close 100 km/h when this happened, killed a small girl and two other guys. What if he had just waited 2 more minutes to cross that signal? [facebook_video]https://www.facebook.com/rushlane/videos/10153898044986784[/facebook_video]

Here is a video from my Scorpio's dash cam. I was driving back home the other night when this Toyota Corolla - DL 3CAY 0340 - comes driving on the wrong side of the road in peak hour traffic, in the fast lane! Nearly missed smashing up.

Notice a whole lot of other traffic driving the wrong way. As long as our authorities are lax about implementing the law and idiots like the above one think they can get away with anything, we won't improve.
Drink coffee and drive!
