So what do you do with the old bathtub left after a remodel of the house ? Simple. You make a vintage race car out of it 
. As weird as it sounds, Some Russians smoking weed have pulled it off. Must say they've done a marvelous job. Just look at it. they fondly named the bath-tub racer, 'Dub Tub'. The images were shared on facebook page Журнал Custom Culture(Russian page - Thank god for google translator). The name in English comes to 'Magazine Custom Culture', which is a Russian car custom culture magazine page. 
Looks like they just Flipped it over, one good cut, plonk it on a nice little frame chassis, some paint and voila, a charming little soapbox derby car/ pedal car/ go-kart is ready. It is only a simple task to put in a lawn mower or scooty engine in there and it would be so much cool. We have seen many such custom built mini race cars but there was just something so nice and charming about this particular tub racer that made me write this post. If you look closely, Dub Tub is wearing VW badges, but don't know why. may be the maker is way into VW cars. 
So, next time when you plan to dispose off that old tub, why not make a cool race car for you little one?
