  • R/C Mania!

So i've decided to start this thread as R/C cars and planes have started to play havoc with my mental equilibria. It's come a long way from me playing with some battery powered 1:24 scale models as a kid, to 1:8 scale nitro-fueled FAST toys. Keep posting here if you come across some good R/C videos of the cars/tracks/or just about anything you like in the fascinating world of these tiny monsters. Also, im a fan on the HUGE airplanes and scale jets which are flown all over the world by the enthusiasts, hence there might be some posts on that. For now, enjoy this video of C-NETIC team from facebook going crazy around this one-of-a-kind track.

We all have fantasized taking an RC car and rolling it down the streets, along with umm, 'normal sized' cars and looks like this guy from Istanbul has actually done it! Yes, the roads need to be super smooth for something like this and damn, the roads in Istanbul really are! A tiny pair of LEDs and a Go-Pro camera are fitted to the nitro car and I think the R/C car is being followed so as to stay in range. Nonetheless, the video is pretty cool! It almost feels like a miniaturized version of Need For Speed Underground!

    Keep the rubber side down!

Praveen Insane man! The roads have to butter smooth for this. Imagine a RC car on our Indian roads. I bet it can't hold on to more than 20 seconds, before it either gets bounced of a speed-breaker or crashes into one of the innumerable pothholes

JijoMalayil Haha! Yeah, in Indian roads, I can totally imagine the car flying over potholes like a slam dunked basketball! :P
