The new E-Class is an another much awaited car! Siting between the C-Class and the S-Class, E-Class generally drives in the volumes for Mercedes across the globe, so it's a pretty big deal! The company just showed the interior of the car at CES, host of features, very similar to the ones we have seen in the S-Class! you'll find huge displays, touch-sensitive controls on the steering wheel, selectable ambient lighting color, and a new user interface among others.

Ah the Lincoln Continental finally breaks cover. First few images of the Continental are on the web now. The concept looked way too cool for a Lincoln, but at least it showed the world that finally the brand was serious about their luxury cars. But the interesting bit when the concept was previewed was when Bentley's chief designer dissed his Lincoln counterpart of plagiarism. Bentley designer Luc Donckerwolke posted on Lincoln designer David Woodhouse’s Facebook page asking him if he wanted the tooling for the Bentley sent to the Lincoln factory. Donckerwolke then went as far as saying that the 2016 Lincoln Continental as a ripoff. “I would have called it a Flying Spur concept and kept the four round lights.” Another designer commented “I thought this was only done in China? Finally a ‘Bentley for the masses’ though...”

Images of the production variant below. Tell me, does it look like a Bentley to you?

Anyway THIS is what I'm really looking forward to:
        The Lexus LC 500

here's what we know it'll have the RC F 5.0 V8 ( YUMMY) ( for all you geeks that motor is called 2UR-GSE V8.) I personally love the sound that engine makes in the RC-F so I'm sure it'll sound as good if not better in this baby!

now to the numbers! 467 Hp and 527 Nm of Torque! in the Rc-F the peak torque arrives at 3800 RPM, so I'm presuming it's the same here ( a tag high in the rev range in my opinion, I'd have wanted it to be lower but heck what would I know, I have never driven it or the RC-F )

        The FT1 resemblance!

COME ON ! I CANT BE ONLY ONE WHO SEES IT! ( okay, I think inspiration is a better word)

        LOOK!

It's going to be in the $100K range so if it ever sees India it's gonna be in the 1.5 Cr range ! I say it looks special enough to be there but again doesn't have enough brand value from an Indian perspective

Come 2017 you'll see it in the showrooms is what Lexus has to say! I say I can't wait for 2017 <3

A hydrogen powered H-Tron Quatrro Concept was showcased by Audi at Detroit on the second day of the Auto Show. Audi is pushing the hybrid technology on the heels of Dieselgate scandal which rocked its parent company Volkswagen. Audi is expected to release three plug-in hybrids in the next three years, most likely an A6, A7 and Q6.

H-Tron Concept looks stunning, a tweaked version of the E-Tron Quattro (Audi's Tesla rival electric SUV) which is going in for production soon. H-Tron uses a 110 kW fuel cell in conjuction wiht a 10 kW lithium ion battery pack to power a 140 kW motor in the back and a 90 kW motor in the front. Both motors working in tandem propels the SUV from zero to hundred in just 7 seconds, that is properly fast!

Refueling which is a major concern with Hybrids, The hydrogen fuel tank can be refilled in less than four minutes. The claimed range is an impressive 600 kilometers!

On the outside H-Tron Concept looks like a station-wagon, but those door handles that is neatly tucked into the body when not in use, blends in with the overall design quite well.

Interiors are equally stunning, with multiple screens and the sleek design theme which is futuristic yet functional at the same time. Ambient lighting also looks very interesting inside the H-Tron Concept.

Powered by a 148 bhp and 184 lb-ft (249 Nm) of torque 1.4 liter engine, the GTE Active Concept is also aided by two electric motors (one for the front wheels and one for the rear), for a total output of 221 bhp. Still, it appears to be enough for the virtual world.

The 2.7-litre EcoBoost motor puts out an impressive 325PS and 475Nm of torque, far more than that of the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. The sporty edition of the Fusion also gets automatic adjustable damping that tunes the suspension depending on the road condition.

The Ford Fusion V6 Sport also gets an aggressive exterior design to complement all that power. It gets larger and deeper air intakes and the grilles are finished with a gloss black-finish mesh. to put all the power down on the road, the Ford Fusion V6 gets large 19-inch wheels. At the rear, the car gets an all-new little spoiler to set it apart from the stock model. Another distinguishing factor is the dual exhaust outlets at the rear.

In terms of technology, the Ford Fusion V6 Sport comes with a pedestrian detection system, like the ones on the Volvo S60 T6 which Roshun got to test a while back, and also features a parking function. Now Ford, just bring it to India under your ‘One Ford’ strategy will you.

Buick unveiled a stunning concept at the Detroit Auto Show called the Avista. The Avista is a 2+2 coupe with two vestigial rear seats. The swoop coupe is based on the Chevrolet Camaro platform. The rear-wheel drive concept car is powered by a twin-turbo V6 producing 400bhp. An eight-speed transmission sends all those horsepower to rear wheels.

As of now, Buick hasn’t confirmed if this concept would be put into production. It would be a shame if they didn’t as this is one of the best designs to come out of Buick in a long long time. the manufacturer calls its new design philosophy New Buick Styling.

What stands out the most in the concept is that gorgeous-looking grille. The Avista sports a chainmail-type mesh, kind of like the ones seen on Cadillac’s sporty saloons. The concept also gets 20-inch wheels which despite their size barely hides the disc brakes behind. A side-on profile reveals taut lines and smooth creases. Buick says some of these design elements will make it to their production cars.

Even though a concept, there’s not a single line on the car that wouldn’t look out of place on a production car. In fact, it could well be GM’s best looking car. How many years do you reckon it will take GM to put into production?
