Here's the CHEAT SHEET to Auto Expo 2016 - How to get there, where to go, what to do, what to see, what to eat!

The Auto Expo is in full swing and we've already been here three days - so having got a head start, here are some hot tips to help you navigate your way through the crowds at the Expo.
This year, it is the biggest, baddest expo Delhi has seen.

If you have got your tickets, this post will take you through everything that you need to know about this mega event at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.

Below is the map of getting there, it is situated towards the end of the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and there are multiple ways of getting there. The closest Metro station is "Botanical Garden". There is a shuttle service available from there to the main venue.

If you plan on getting your own vehicle, the allotted parking will be right next to the Mart.

There are two parking lots - P1 and P2.
Parking lot P1 is closer to the Expo Venue. To get to Parking P1, you have to take the Greater Noida Expressway, cross the underpass and turn left. Get there early, as it fills up fast. If you are getting to the Expo anytime after 10am, forget P1, just head to P2.

Parking P2 is not as close to the Expo, it is situated close to the Yamuna Expressway turn off. To get to P2, you have to take the service road before the Yamuna Expressway turn. From P2, you will have to use a Red shuttle bus to get to the Expo venue. There is a valet parking service also available, where the driver will drop you to the Expo and then take your car and park it.

Outdoor activity area is just in front of Hall 16 (turn left from Gate 11/12). You will find JK Tyre Ranger offroad, Hero's stunt zone, Honda's safe riding zone and Yamaha's stunt showcase. Behind that is the Vintage Car and Media section.

So plan your favourite manufacturers and head there. Don't forget to visit the CarDekho / Gaadi / ZigWheels team at our stall in Hall 8 or at our media space in Hall 16 (near the Vintage Car collection. See you there. So the traffic to the Auto Expo is going to be pretty thick. This morning (February 5th) it took an hour to get to the Expo Centre, for a journey that normally takes 25 minutes on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. Once you get to the centre, there is a ticket counter near P1 parking - a pretty large one. If you don't have tickets yet, this is where you should pick them up from and then take the red shuttle bus to Gate 7 or Gate 1. Gate 1 is closer to the activity area and food court, while Gate 7 is on the side and gives you direct access to Hall 15 on one side and Hall 1-8 on the other.

There's plenty to eat, but you first have to buy a cash card - again available at all the gates. Pick the card up, recharge for about Rs. 500 or Rs. 1,000 (there's a Rs. 50 security deposit on it). All the big food brands are around, and there are three food courts, at three corners of the building.

Now here's a list of cars, bikes and other stuff you shouldn't miss at the Expo:

1. Maruti Suzuki India: Take a good look at the Vitara Brezza and the Igniz. These are two hot launches from Maruti.
2. Chevrolet India: Take a look at the Camaro, which is the centre piece. Then there's the Beat Activ, Essentia compact sedan and the Chevrolet Spin MPV
3. Hyundai: The all-new Hyundai Tucson and the Hyundai i30 are worth looking at, along with the updated Santa Fe
4. Isuzu: The butch 4x4 pick up - the D-Max V-Cross is what you should look at.
5. Ford: Two hot numbers here - the Ford Mustang in blazing red and the all-new Ford Endeavour are stars of this stall.

Then head upstairs and look at the bikes.
1. Benelli - the entire line up of Benelli bikes is stunning.
2. UM Motorcycles - the Renegade Sport, launched at just Rs. 1.5 lakh is hot.
3. Honda - Look at the Navi, a cute little bikerette or scootercycle, whatever it is.
4. Yamaha - a stunning display of bikes, but the Ray ZR scooter is what's new along with the MT-09
5. Suzuki - The litre class plus bikes are hot
While you are upstairs, on the 1st floor, also stop by our sister concerns space for a virtual reality tour of all cars - the CarDekho & BikeDekho stall (Ok, that one was a plug, I confess :-) )

Next head out and go to Hall 9 which connects internally all the way to Hall 12.
1. Look at the Honda stall - you will see the all-new Honda BR-V SUV and if you stick around for a bit, you will see Asimo the robot dance - he does that every couple of hours. There's also the new Accord and the Jazz.
2. Head across to Toyota next for a quick look at the new Innova Crysta
3. Then feast yourself to the Jeep stall. The Wrangler and the Cherokee SRT are totally droolworthy.
4. Walk across to Mahindra and look at the modified Thar, the new KUV100 and of course, the XUV Aero Concept - one that is grabbing plenty of eyeballs.
5. BMW - the i8 is what you should feast your eyes on and the new 7-Series. Of course, everything else is cool too. Among the bikes there's the new GS310 to look at.
6. Fiat - Hmm, embellished versions of the Avventura, Linea and Punto, as well as the old new... or rather new, old Punto Pure.
7. Nissan and Datsun - the Go Cross concept is hot. Nissan also has the new X-Trail as well as the yummy GTR sports car.
8. Audi - the R8 V10 Plus looks stunning. Check it out. And there's also the new Audi A4.
9. Eicher - check out their new LIVE tracking system.
10. Force, Scania, Leyland - if you are into trucks, there are some pretty cool ones.

Walk across to Hall 13, which connects up to Hall 15.
1. Check out Tata and JLR. The Jaguar F-Pace and Jaguar XE are the ones to look at. There's also Tata's hot Nexon - a compact SUV that has pretty good potential.
2. Volkswagen - Check out the Polo GTI and new Passat GTE.
3. Mercedes Benz - the whole range is worth looking at, specially the GLC and the S Class Cabriolet
4. Renault - don't miss the new Duster facelift.

Once you are done with these halls, walk across to the activity area and food court. Here you can take a ride in a 4x4 (JK Tyre Ranger activity area), watch Yamaha's stunt riders in action or even Hero's stunt display or take part in Honda's safe riding activity. Beyond that is the vintage car pavilion and a very interesting Bollywood Motors showcase. Also a whole bunch of us there (yes, please stop by the ZigWheels stall in Hall 16, just beyond the activity area and catch up with us!)
