2008 Royal Enfield Thunderbird- Rear Tyre Modification

Hi guys,

I am planning to change rear rim of my 2008 Thunderbird with Avenger's rear rim. What's your opinion and let me know whether I need to change the bodywork and shockers. Please reply.

I wouldn't advise you do that as it would be difficult to fit Avenger's rear rim to the Thunderbird and even if you're able to, it will hamper the dynamics of the bike considerably. If you want more grip, you can opt for Pirellis of the same size as the stock ones. To see the specifications of your tyre, have a look at the bike's instruction manual and also the tyre-wall.
