“We have many loyal owners and Ferrari fans in Delhi and this new showroom will help them get even closer to the iconic brand. With great experience in the luxury car market, Select Cars is our preferred choice for this partnership in the capital region and we are confident that as our partners they will create more value for our ever increasing customer base,” said Galliera after inaugurating the new showroom.

He also said that he was overwhelmed by the support Ferrari receives from Indian fans and overwhelmed by the sea of fans clad in red at the inaugural Indian Grand Prix at the Budh International Circuit and hope F1 would soon return to India.

The personalisation area at the dealership where clients can configure their Ferrari to suit their taste

Regarding sales, Galliera said Ferrari has always stood for exclusivity and being a small manufacturer the brand is not keen on entering the numbers game like other manufacturers. Galliera also admitted that Ferrari had committed some big mistakes in the Indian market and sought to rectify them with their new partners. The new dealer will also service Ferraris sold by earlier partner Shreyans Group. Ashish Chordia-run Shreyans Group folded operation at the earlier showroom at Janpath after facing a lot of flak from customers for poor after-sales support.

Yadur Kapur, the director of Select Cars Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are delighted with the opening of the new Ferrari showroom. As befits this Italian luxury sports car brand, we will strive to constantly exceed our customers’ expectations in every way. The showroom will offer the new car sales and the highest quality of aftersales service with an unprecedented buying experience.”

The showroom, located at A-19 Mohan Co-Operative Industrial Estates, Mathura Road, has a floor space of 3,300 sqft and can accommodate three cars at a time. The showroom even has a lounge and a unique personalisation area where clients can configure their Ferrari down to details like the choice of steering wheels to the colour of the stitch on the seats.

The important question is do they know I am poor already or I can trick them into letting me test drive??
