Price: The Hero Vida V1 is available in two variants – Vida V1 Plus priced at Rs 1,19,p00 and the V1 Pro at Rs 1,49,900 (ex-showroom, including EMPS).
Design: The Vida V1 gets an attractive design language with a combination of retro and futuristic styling. It features a sharp-looking fascia flaunting an LED headlight setup that looks like the face of a robot.
Features: The Vida V1 flaunts a long list of features including a fully digital TFT touchscreen instrument console, customisable ride modes along with Eco, Ride and Sport modes, two-way throttle, cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, parking assist, emergency alert and key fob for keyless access. Apart from that, it also gets trip analytics, scooter diagnostics, regen, follow-me-home lights, anti-theft alarm, and document storage.
Motor: Powered by a 6kW (peak) motor, the Hero Vida V1 Plus gets a 3.44kWh removable battery pack, which offers a claimed Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of 143km. The V1 Pro gets a slightly bigger 3.94kWh removable battery pack and has an impressive IDC range of 165km.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: It features a telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup with a disc brake up front and a drum at the rear for braking. It has a ground clearance of 155mm and seat height of 780mm.
Rivals: The Hero Vida V1 rivals the Ampere Nexus, TVS iQube Electric, Ather 450X, Ola S1 Pro, Bajaj Chetak and Simple One.
Range: V1 can go upto 165 km/charge after a full charge.
Variants: The Hero Vida V1 is available in two variants – Vida V1 Plus priced at Rs 1,19,900 and the V1 Pro at Rs 1,49,900 (ex-showroom Bengaluru, including EMPS).
Latest Updates on V1
In a recent earnings call, Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of a lower variant of the Vida V1 which could be priced under Rs 1 lakh and may be launched by September 2024. Also, the Vida V1 was one of the best-performing electric scooters in May 2024, according to SIAM (Society of Indian Automotive Manufacturers) sales data.
The Vida V1 Pro and Vida V1 Plus marks Hero MotoCorp’s foray into the world of electric scooters. The Vida V1 Pro is the more premium offering of the two with a larger 3.94kWh capacity battery pack and a higher claimed real-world range of 110km.
