The Aprilia Tuono 457’s launch date has been revealed in India. It will be launched on 17th or 18th February according to an invite we have received from the brand.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is powered by a 457cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine. It produces 47.6PS at 9,400rpm and 43.5Nm at 6,700rpm and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.

The Tuono 457’s frame is a twin-spar aluminium unit and the suspension setup consists of a 41mm inverted fork with 120mm wheel travel and a monoshock with a 130mm wheel travel (both with preload adjustability). Braking duties are taken care of by a 320mm front disc brake and a 220mm rear disc brake. The naked streetfighter rolls on 110-section front and 150-section rear tyres with 17-inch wheels at both ends and it has a dry weight of 159kg.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 has a 5-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. It also gets three riding modes: Eco, Sport and Rain along with three levels of traction control.

The Aprilia Tuono 457’s rivals will be the KTM 390 Duke and Yamaha MT-03.
